Some of the Things that Float My Boat

[not in any particular order]

Music: boogie, ragtime, Grieg, Rachmaninoff, Henry Mancini, Moody Blues, Temptations, Sam & Dave, Gershwin and so many more . . .

Family: without my extended family I'd have far fewer real friends

Spouse's balding head

Babies: especially if I can inspire a smile or giggle

My home: it may be just an apartment, but it's where Spouse and I feel safe and secure

Food: watermelon, homemade bread, raw asparagus, anything with lime in it

Our car: it is my ticket to freedom when I need to go adventuring

My godchildren: Nan, Carolyn and Alex

Thunderstorms: especially at night

Snow: lots and lots of it

Movies that don't scare me and have happy endings

Early childhood memories of time spent with my grandparents

Beaches (not the movie -- the sandy kind)
