I took this picture last Spring and just twiddled it to look like a mosaic. It worked particularly well with this shot. My pansy painting in the background took on new life, too.

Me, Myself and I . . .
Welcome to my world!
I post opinions, memories, observations and anything else that flops into my mind.
My blog is an exercise in processing thoughts and feelings and reaching out for fresh insight. I hope anyone reading this will share theirs.
Please don't use my stuff without asking me first, OK? Thanks!

"The most powerful force in the world is thought. The more forms of expression it finds, the more that force can manifest itself."
--Count Leo Tolstoy

About Me
- dcpeg
- I am an unrepentent bookworm and seldom watch TV except for evening news. Movies with happy endings that don't scare me are an alternative to books. Photography is something I'm trying to master though I still cannot figure out my late Dad's world-traveling old Argus with it's light meter, F stops, etc. I do OK with my Canon point and shoot but would love to try something with a big, long lens!
Some of the Things that Float My Boat
[not in any particular order]
Music: boogie, ragtime, Grieg, Rachmaninoff, Henry Mancini, Moody Blues, Temptations, Sam & Dave, Gershwin and so many more . . .
Family: without my extended family I'd have far fewer real friends
Spouse's balding head
Babies: especially if I can inspire a smile or giggle
My home: it may be just an apartment, but it's where Spouse and I feel safe and secure
Food: watermelon, homemade bread, raw asparagus, anything with lime in it
Our car: it is my ticket to freedom when I need to go adventuring
My godchildren: Nan, Carolyn and Alex
Thunderstorms: especially at night
Snow: lots and lots of it
Movies that don't scare me and have happy endings
Early childhood memories of time spent with my grandparents
Beaches (not the movie -- the sandy kind)
